Manual Therapy

As a European Osteopath, Frida brings a diverse and unique skill-set to the treatment table. She integrates various manual therapy techniques, including joint mobilization, visceral mobilization, myofascial release, and neuromuscular technique for a powerful and effective therapy. No session is the same, as she uses a non-recipe approach.
This way she builds an optimized treatment plan for each and every client, and her goal is to empower her clients to take an active role in getting back on track and enjoying life without any limitations.
PARTNERING WITH PELVIC HEALING
I am proud to collaborate with Sarton Pelvic Healing Physical Therapy, one of Southern California’s leading clinics specializing in pelvic health. Working alongside this world-renowned pelvic floor physical therapy team allows me to offer a more complete path to wellness. Together, we share the belief that pelvic conditions often have many layers, and true healing comes from looking at the whole picture — body, mind, and daily life.

WHAT IS EUROPEAN OSTEOPATHY? The philosophy and practice of osteopathic medicine developed in reaction to the frequently harmful medicine being practiced in the United States in the late 1800s. The philosophy was developed by Andrew Taylor Still, MD, who pioneered the concept of "wellness" and recognized the importance of treating illness within the context of the whole body. Osteopathic medicine is a distinctive form of medical care founded on the philosophy that all body systems are interrelated and dependent upon one another for good health. Osteopathy as practiced in the United States in the late 1800s was exported to Europe, and spread to the rest of the world. Treatment highlighted the musculoskeletal manipulation developed by U.S. osteopathic physicians (and not practiced by allopathic physicians). To this day, osteopaths (the term used for foreign-trained practitioners who practice osteopathic manipulation) are not physicians. Their training focuses on the musculoskeletal system and they are not licensed to prescribe medications or perform surgeries. They are trained primarily in the practice of osteopathic manual techniques. In Europe osteopaths are widely recognized, in particular in the United Kingdom (UK), France and Germany, as well as outside Europe in Australia and New Zealand. In the UK there are over 10 universities that offer osteopathic medicine courses. The General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) regulates the practice of osteopathy in the UK. By law osteopaths must be registered with GOsC in order to practise. GOsC works with the public and osteopathic profession to promote patient safety by registering qualified professionals, and setting, maintaining and developing standards of osteopathic practice and conduct. Frida graduated with first class honors from one of the oldest osteopathic colleges in the UK, the British College of Osteopathic Medicine. PAIN SYNDROMES + Pregnancy and post-partum pain + Acute and chronic muscle and joint pain + Digestive disorders (constipation, indigestion, reflux) + Pelvic pain (coccyx pain, sits bone pain, pubic pain, groin pain, sacroiliac joint pain) + Psoas dysfunction + Hip problems + Lower back pain + TMJ pain + Headaches + Acute and chronic neck pain + Shoulder pain (rotator cuff, frozen shoulder) + And More! Lactation

As a lactation consultant IBCLC, Frida is dedicated to providing compassionate support that respects every family’s unique journey. Her goal is to promote empowerment by helping parents feel confident in their feeding preferences — whether that’s breastfeeding, pumping, or combination feeding.
She understands that infant feeding choices are deeply personal and can impact mental health, so she strives to create a safe, judgment-free space where parents feel heard, respected, and encouraged.
Frida trained as a birth doula and has had the privilege of providing childbirth education to more than 500 couples over the years. Her one-on-one support focuses on helping parents feel prepared, informed, and confident as they approach birth.
She places special emphasis on comfort measures and massage techniques that can make a meaningful difference during pregnancy and labor. These tools not only support the birthing parent physically but also strengthen the connection between partners, giving them practical ways to work together through the birth experience.
Frida’s approach blends evidence-based education with hands-on skills, ensuring families feel both empowered and supported. Her goal is to create a calm, nurturing environment where parents feel ready to welcome their baby with confidence.
WHAT IS AN IBCLC? IBCLC stands for International Board Certified Lactation Consultant. It’s the highest recognized credential for lactation professionals worldwide. WHAT IS A BIRTH DOULA? A birth doula is a trained professional who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to a pregnant person before, during, and shortly after childbirth. Unlike a midwife or doctor, a doula does not perform medical tasks (like checking blood pressure, delivering the baby, or prescribing medications). Instead, their role is to help the birthing person feel safe, supported, and informed. Typical support from a birth doula includes: + Before birth: helping prepare a birth plan, providing education about labor and birth options. + During labor: offering comfort measures (massage, positioning, breathing techniques), encouragement, and advocacy to help communicate preferences with medical staff. + After birth: assisting with the immediate postpartum transition, including emotional support and sometimes early breastfeeding help.
